My worst fear had finally ended today! Hurray! What I fear most is oral examination!
I really cannot communicate using English. I mean when I speak English I feel uncomfortable. Plus when I speak in English, people do not really understand me.
Especially Mr Lim, my “temporary” English teacher.
When I speak to him he was like “Sorry?” and after I repeat, he will give me that “can you please rephrase it” face. Then I was like forget it, I will speak Mandarin to him and he will reply in English.
Anyway, just now before my oral start, Shihyin, Zixi and I went to find him for help.
So, I asked him, what if the examiner really cannot understand what I was saying what I am going to do? He just smile and said I cannot speak Mandarin to do examiner, just try. We just discuss, discuss, then he suddenly spoke Mandarin with us.
It was so funny the way he spoke. We were all laughing at him and he claim that he had not spoke Mandarin for a long time. What made really impress is he actually got A2 for his mother tongue! Haha…
Madam Neo said he can ever read Chinese philosophy!
Hmm…So today I learn that never judge a person by the way he speak!
